Yes, the market will correct at some point, that's common knowledge,
but that doesn't mean one can't make money trading the market on longer term themes between now and then, as well as having an insurance short position against the general market at the same time.

What will tank the market in the next several months?

But tis offset against huge government bridge payments between now and return to employment by the 10 M or so who have lost their jobs and still don't have them back, especially the labor class.

There is a huge potential to tank banks with mortgage defaults if there is not a bridge payment between now and next year, which if real estate tanks from here, lights out, and its much worse than many suspect, depending upon leverage. . .

All depends upon the course of the virus, and the success of vaccination and spread prevention steps.
