How about "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a present".

This may not be genteel phraseology but I have heard it expressed that if you have one foot in the past and the other in the future you are p**ing on the present.

I just put "Yesterday Belongs to History, Tomorrow Belongs to God, Today Belongs to Me" on my facebook front page right below my name and photo where we can have a slogan.

John, what if I tell you that I copyrighted that phrase last night, and that every use costs $4.00?
If you said "you're lying", you're right.

That is another thing in this large great world, tattoos, just don’t get it. My daughter has a few she got during college but she has never shown them to me. I know people say they are art but I always see them as graffiti covering a beautiful person. I would never ever say this to anyone with tattoos as it is there body and their choice. But for me I don’t get it. To each their own.

I use to think that way until my daughter showed me the beauty in them. A lot of tats are very meaningful and bring peace to the one who has them. I got one at the age of 55 and it has so much meaning to me....one and one only (they hurt). That being said yes some go way over board with 20 plus or putting them on their face not a fan of those.....but like you said to each their own.
I am very happy that I got mine means a lot to me.

I have never seen a tattoo as beautiful as the skin it covers. They repel me. When I was dating, I wouldn’t go out with women with tattoos. If people want to remember events, take a photo, write it down, carve it on a plaque or a tombstone.

One should think carefully about where he/she puts their tattoos. I worked for 45 yrs as a hospital RN. 20-30 yrs & sagging skin does nasty things to them.

Give Dallas a framed picture that you created. I am sure he would appreciate and value that gesture and knowing how you shared his message with your family.

I like what my son said when asked if he had a tattoo, “Would you put a bumper sticker on a Masarati?”

There is a beautiful shrub called Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. It blooms from spring into summer. In 3 days, the flowers change from purple to lavender and then to white. Sounds like changes in life!

I searched for an appropriate .jpg on line - I did want the photo to include only one person and the earth or such. Nice selection avail online and saved the .jpg. Went into powerpoint, opened a new slide. Imported that picture as a background, and added a text box with my entered saying - chose size color font etc etc. Kinda easy.

I've got 2, an Eagle on my upper right arm and a Razorback on my lower right leg.
Tonight on ABC news WFTV, that was a mug shot of a guy that had the outline of the state of Florida tattooed on his forehead. :ohdear:
