So glad I am no longer in Minneapolis even though I found most of the people there very friendly.

It could be even colder. By next week we'll know if 2021 breaks the February cold record of 1905. The rains and storms we will soon see are a result of this arctic outbreak as it approaches Florida.

Our 2 oldest lives in St Paul, prior to that UK, then Fairbanks :cold:for 8 years.

Both send pic of outside temp along with the snow, and freezing rain, every morning, we send one back. Sometimes the return responses is not friendly.

But We do remind them that we helped pay for them to be doctors, but those degrees apparently didn’t contribute to making better choices to move warmer climate.:ohdear::1rotfl:

Does look like Minneapolis is even colder today.

All I remember about the 1986-1991 winters in the area is all the laundry I had to do because of how many layers I was using when going out in the cold. The tunnels around the U of MN did keep me out of it a lot though.

We are in Superior WI and its much colder here. It was -20 when I ran errands yesterday. But we will be renting in The Villages in 7 weeks while we shop for a home.

The fountains are freezing in Houston, Texas which is extremely rare.
