After more than 20 years at WVLG and just days after celebrating his 87th birthday, Johny-O will be broadcasting for the last time this afternoon. Every time I've talked with him over the years he tells me how much he has enjoyed his second career with the station. He especially loved working with the interns over the years. He's going to miss everyone, especially the listeners. So if you happen to be around Lake Sumpter Landing this afternoon, stop by the WVLG shack and say hello/farewell to Johny-O!

Congratulations Dad! Enjoy this next chapter! Love you!
