Wedgewood Vaccine Site

I just went by the Wedgewwod site a couple workers milling around doing a little work on the site but it's not open or giving vaccinations. Are they out of the vaccine again already?

Did you think about stopping and asking them?

I think I read somewhere that they are not open on Sundays or Mondays, so I wouldn't worry about it yet.

Don’t panic.....Closed on Sunday and Monday...good reason for no cars.

I was on one of the TV Facebook pages last Thursday and several posters mentioned getting vaccine shots at Lake Square Mall in Leesburg. There was a phone number, which I called and you get a recording to leave your name and number. I haven't got a call back yet, but I just talked to a friend at MVP Gym and he had called the day before and already got a call back, he's going today and his wife is going tomorrow. I have appointments at Publix in DeLand this week after trying for five mornings.

If you signed up through Lake County the first shot was at the community college in Leesburg. For the second shot they switched the location to the mall. I preferred the community college, as you didn't have to get out of the car. (Yeah, I'm lazy by nature. ha) Many more people at the mall last Friday than at the college three weeks earlier. Looks like supply was increased.

My husband and I have appointments later this week for the second Moderna shot at the Wedgewood location.

They are starting the second doses for those who were able to get them that first week they were there. Don’t know if there will be more.
