Last night we ate in Ricciardi's in Brownwood, which will soon be called: Prima Italian Restaurant and Steak House..................(Not sure of the exact name). The restaurant has been taken over by the Suleiman Family who now run Havana, Lopez Legacy and Milano Restaurante in Ocala.
The food choices were excellent. The menu has Italian as well as Steak choices. My wife had Lobster Cannelloni and it was outstanding. It was stuffed with lobster and also came with a lobster tail. The portions were generous and the service was excellent.
This new restaurant is going to be a winner. Try it, you'll like.

I'll have to try it. I went several times before and was completely unimpressed with the food. Italians would have been embarrassed.

I thought they were just going to improve the food. I guess they are changing more than that.
New name is Prima Italian Steakhouse which was posted on The Gourmet Club's website some time ago. Hope it is an improvement.

Most restaurants in The villages have a sweetheart six months to a year then they get sloppy or forget that this summer business goes down as well as the taste. I hope these people being good operators keep up their reputation

Had dinner at the soon to be named Prima Italian Steakhouse Sunday night. The grouper over ricotta gnocchi was excellent as was the bruschetta. Service was attentive. The current menu is a starter menu and we were told there would be additions and changes. They could improve the wine list by including more Italians but overall a good meal.

So far it seems the Suleiman family does a good job whenever they take over an existing restaurant. Hopefully this will be the case in Brownwood.

Ate there twice last week. Wasn’t crazy about the appetizers i got, but the main meals were delicious.

I hope it will be at least as good as red sauce. Ate there 3/15. I'm a pasta eater at Italian restaurants so I was surprised that my first bite of spaghetti with meatball seemed to need a little something else. The meatball was like ricciardi's, good. I'll give them several more times.

So, you ate a Redsauce or or at the new Prima Italian?? Ricciardi's is gone. Only the sign needs to be replaced.

I've eaten there twice. Both times it was excellent. I would compare it to Bluefin, Chophouse and Lopez (which are all wonderful). I had the short rib tortellini which was excellent.

I guess you haven't eaten at Havana or Lopez Legacy. The Suleiman Family owns those restaurants and they have been packed for the last couple of years since they bought them. I am sure Riccardi's (Prima Italian Steak House) will be the same. You serve consistently :a040:good food and have good service you will do well in TV.
