Need recommendations for a painter to paint our lanai cage. The white on ours is oxidizing and we would like to have it painted. Thanks!

Good luck with this. This will a be a complicated project if you intend to leave the screen on. I would not attempt a brush paint job. Since the existing paint is oxidizing you will need to use TSP or equal cleaner, probably a high quality primer, and then to final coat of a high quality outdoor probably gloss paint. With the screening removed (or planned on replacing after painting) all of the above can be done by spraying, much faster and typically better coverage than brush. Be very careful about wind as you could end up painting the neighbors house or car.

We are planning on replacing the screen... We had one painter give an estimate..just trying to get another estimate. Thanks for your feedback though :)

I would call Oscar's and Steve Kling, I do not know if they do this type of work but they are both very good painters. White aluminum (Leesburg) may be a source for info on painters also, good luck with your project.

I wonder how electrostatic painting would work with the screens in ??
