Has anyone experienced finding a drop or two of water on the 2nd bathroom floor? We have an Iris floor plan.I am finding these drops below the ceiling light and exhaust fan combo. The hvac has not been running for days, the bathroom exhaust fan has not been used for months. It just happens every now and than. Even in the summer months we will find a drop of water on the floor. Running out of ideas what could cause this.

If you think the water is coming from the light/exhaust fixture, I would hang something under it, like a piece of paper or plastic, to verify that it is the source of the water. If that is the source, and there is no condensation on the fixture, then I think it would be a roof leak. But, most houses do not have a roof penetration immediately above the light/exhaust fixture. The exhaust duct usually goes horizontally toward the nearest exterior wall and discharges through the soffet.

My guess would be condensation due to temperature changes. I agree with above these typically discharge through the soffit so a roof leak is highly unlikely.
