88220 Thanks for passing this along. Now, I am waiting for my copy to show up in my email. I assumed I was still on their Wait List.

I received one yesterday. Unfortunately, even though there appears to be a link allowing you to cancel, it is unclickable. I tried with 3 different devices and browsers. No way to phone, no way to email either.

On some browsers you have to scroll sideways to get to the boxes to click or input information.
Here is a contact link to the GMR sight.
Just choose a category that comes close....explain when registered, looking for status etc.
Takes a couple of days to get a reply (at least that was the way it worked for us).

I emailed them to cancel since we received ours at another location. Got a thank you email back which means two other folks can get scheduled.

We just spent the past couple of hours getting a vaccine for my wife. I signed both of us up on the 21st of January. She got a message on Tuesday with a code and an appointment for 4:00 pm today at Wedgewood Lane in the Villages. When we arrived there was no activity but someone informed us that they were doing the vaccines in Sumterville. After driving 22 miles south and asking at a gas station where they might be doing vaccine, we were directed to Sumter College. Managed to get a vaccine for my wife but even though there were many others who had missed appointments I was unable to get one even though we both signed up at the same time. Very poor communication from GMR. How hard would it have been to notify the people with appointments that the site had changed?

I agree with you. I got email last night to schedule appointment and made it for 5:00 today at Buffalo Ridge. Fortunately I get the Daily Sun and had a friend who got her shot yesterday so I knew about the Sumterville location. I drove over to Buffalo Ridge this morning to get gas and saw no activity at the vaccine site so I went to Sumterville this afternoon at scheduled time. Another friend just got her email today and scheduled her shot for Saturday confirmation from GMR still shows Buffalo Ridge site. If you don't get the newspaper, not everyone does, or know someone who went to Sumterville you would have no way of knowing about the change as GMR is not reaching out about the site change.

Oh boy, I finally got my parents set for their vaccinations today at Buffalo Ridge...email said nothing about this change. Is the college set up for car drive thru? My dad can't walk.

Once you reach Sumterville College (I would recommend using a GPS or WAZE since it is not easily visible from the road) you can drive in and be processed in the usual fashion. Shots are given while the patient remains in the car and then a 15 minute wait in a nearby parking lot. Personnel at the site are courteous and make the process relatively simple. Just wish that GMR would put someone in charge of communications and keep people informed. How hard is it for anyone with computer skills to reach out to all the people who are registered on a given day and notify them of a change of venue???

They schedule by filling up time slots - it was nice of you to cancel but it really meant nothing as far as filling your slots - those slots would have filled anyway with the next people in line. You had great intentions and that is commendable!

GMR is still doing that. I made an appointment last night for my first vaccine. Their immediate e-mail response directed me to Wedgewood Lane. This morning, I received another e-mail directing me to Sumterville. Stay on your toes.

Maddening isn't it! There is a way to cancel your appointment, but it takes some jumps through the proverbial hoops to accomplish. I believe the number to contact to take your name off the list is 866-627-7806. They will probably ask you for your code, so keep that handy.

I signed my spouse and myself up at the same time, actually consecutively. My wife received her code to schedule her date/time for the shot a few days ago. I received mine today. I went on there and cancelled both, as we have already had our first shot and scheduled for the second at another location. By cancelling, that should move a couple folks up on the list.
I would suggest that if you are considering whether to get the vaccination or not, that you make a decision fast. It is only a matter of time before they open the line to all ages and you will have to compete with the majority of folks younger than you.

This morning, I received another e-mail directing me to Sumterville. Stay on your toes. I made my appointment early this morning and their site location said the college. They must have fixed this between your appointment and mine. Like you said, you must stay on your toes for any other changes that may happen.

We signed up on Jan 13th Got the call yesterday set our appointments then was notified an hour later about location change. Not a big deal as long as we get the shots.

Why cancel? Ive read many many times that there is no need to cancel. Just dont show. Thats been in the Daily paper numerous times.

I still have not heard anything about my January 13th enrollment. I tried the links too and none worked.

My error on previous message. We both signed up on the 11th of January. A friend who signed up on the 12th just got a code to input for an appointment but the site didn't work so he still has no avenue to get his shot. I have yet to receive any further notification and don't want to start over. Nothing currently available from Publix or Walgreen at this time

My husband and I registered on Jan. 13, we had a text and email last night with our code to set an appointment. After that we received a confirmation with a site (Woodbridge dr) and scan code. I was concerned because of previous info on TOTV that said this was not the correct venue. Lo and behold, this morning we received an email changing the venue to the Lake Sumter College site in Sumterville. We also had our second date scheduled for 4 weeks later at the same time. I knew if I was patient we would hear from GMR.
