Typo in subject should be "status".

The activity on this subject seems to have faded to almost nothing in recent days.

There was some posting(s) of when registered and when finally getting an appointment occurred. It was interesting to note the progression of the completions moving forward from 1/11/2021.

The location has seemed to settlled in at the Sumterville Community College (for now).

We have friends who have an original sign up date with GMR of 1/16/2021 who have not been contacted yet for an appointment.

Maybe those who have recently received their appointment invitations will let us know their original sign up date and the appointment date.

I was recorded 1-16-21 at 8:56PM and have received no appointment time yet. I did receive the notice about the move to Sumterville confirming that I must still be on their list.

I signed up 1/12 received email to schedule first shot on 2/16 and got first shot on 2/17. My friend signed up 1/13 received email to schedule first shot on 2/18 and got first shot on 2/20. Only issue I had was both our confirmations indicated the Buffalo Ridge site and neither of us was notified of change to Sumterville we only knew about that from newspaper and word of mouth.

I applaud you for doing the correct thing by staying vigilant about the changes. It seems to me that those who want the shots will be getting them, if they wait patiently. They may have to drive a little and if they don't drive arrange for a way with friends or family or take a cab or take public transportation if they live elsewhere.

I don't understand about those who live in "underserved" communities being at a LARGE disadvantage. The shots are free. Sometimes it boils down to diligence and perseverance and planning and reading and listening.

I have also been wondering what date GMR is now processing on their Wait List. I don't believe I have seen anyone post if they signed up on 1/14/21. We want to help all Wait Listers get some idea of where they are on the list. Any 1/14/21 people out there? I know a few 1/15/21 people are waiting. Thanks for any updates you can provide!

My husband and I signed up January 13 about 20 minutes apart. He first then me. So I got my reservation code Thursday. However I already got called from myvacvinnefl.com. My husband who signed up before me has heard nothing from GMR or my vaccine fll.com. Getting really upset that my husband seems to fallen in the cracks somewhere. Anyone else sign up on January 13 with GMR who has not heard?

I just returned from the GMR vaccination site at the college. Very well run! You mainly drive in a grassy field and today the field was dry. Remember to bring your ID and your barcode paperwork. At the first checkpoint, there were 5 cars ahead of us. Two of the five were turned away and they had to leave. I will not speculate why they were not able to get their shots. Just remember that you need an appointment to get vaccinated. Thank you, GMR, for sticking to your rules.

Confirmed submission around 5 am on January 15. Got the spam mail recently, "Your registration is important to us so please hang on and someday we will pull your name out of that big frumpy hat we have lying around somewhere."

I'm wondering if some middle schooler wrote the queuing software...

Oh boy I’m worried now... hubby signed up on 1/13 and heard nothing. Check his email. Did he receive an email titled 'Safe Restart Vaccine Requested'? The GMR email would have been dated 1/13, the same day you said he signed up. If he received this email, he would have been put on the GMR 1/13 Wait List. If you find this email, contact GMR and tell them he may have been accidently overlooked on the 1/13 Wait List. If you cannot find this email, there may have been input errors in his online application.

THE SUMTER COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES UPDATE ON
COVID-19 VACCINE AVAILABILITY

Thanks for the link. I had my 1st at the Woodridge Dr location in TV. She had both at the Wildwood location. My second is sched for nest Tues the 8th - was wondering "WHERE?" - this answers it.

On March 8th, GMR will be moving to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, which is closer to our population centers in The Villages and Wildwood. In addition to the closer location, this new location will support an expansion of vaccination throughput, which is helpful as we anticipate that the number of vaccines that we receive may rapidly expand. GMR will contact patients scheduled for March 8th and beyond, to ensure a smooth transition. The Sumter County Health Department extends our thanks to Lake Sumter State College for the use of their facilities to support mass vaccination activities during this period of transition.
