Need Help With Private Messages

After I reply to a private message, I can not see my response. I'm not sure my reply is actually being sent. I do click on REPLY WITH QUOTE then after I type my response, I click on SUBMIT MESSAGE.

Am I supposed to be able to see my response? Am I doing something wrong?

When you are in your message page it looks like the attached except I have clicked on the little arrow where it says Inbox. You have the option of looking at your received messages which is the default or you can change to your sent messages.

Click on "private messages" at the top right side of the screen under your name. From there, you can use the drop down menu to view your sent messages.
