Refrigerator Repair

Called Fields Appliance to repair our refrigerator when it no longer kept a cool temperature. A service tech, Scott, came to our house and diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan that needed to be replaced. The fan was replaced at a cost of $400, but a week later the same problem occurred and within days the refrigerator was barely cool so we had to buy a new one. Obviously the fan was not the problem. Either Scott and Fields Appliance are incompetent, or they are dishonest. Either way, this is not a company you want in your house working on your appliances.

We recently had a problem with our ice maker in the refrigerator, called several repair services and when I described the problem, ice was forming under the cube reservoir, no one was interested in coming out. My neighbor suggested I call Jerry Thibodeau Repair Services. Jerry came out the next day, diagnosed our problem quickly and even had the part we needed on his truck. He was personable, knowledgeable and quick and clean. We won't be calling anyone else for appliance repairs.

We had no problem with Fields repairing a faulty door.

Did you contact them when it failed the second time? Did they refuse to come back out?
