We have used T&D pool service since moving to The Villages and at 2 different homes. Recently the level of service has dropped off dramatically and after a little investigation, I've found that T&D's pool service operation has been sold to a company called National Pool Partners. They are currently struggling to keep employees and to keep up with weekly cleaning schedules that are contracted for their customers. They are, however, currently offering credit if your cleaning was missed. But you have to call and ask for it.

While I'm willing to work with them during the transition, I would also like to be educated about possible other services that are available in our area. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Kind of remarkable how quickly T & D has gone from a very well regarded operation that apparently made a lot of money to a disaster.

Since they originally designed and built our pool, lanai and bird cage (2005) we have used them for all maintenance.

This past year their weekly pool cleaning service at best is spotty....never the same day....never the same tech....the office states they are having trouble getting techs.....that excuse is now too many months old.

I reluctantly would consider a reliable alternative. (I am always haunted by the adage; the devil you already know is better than the one you don't).

Totally agree with the above post and will be following this thread very closely as we have just about had it with their service operation. The pool service operation was sold about 3 years ago and has gone downhill ever since. The construction operation did an outstanding job building our pool and birdcage, and we have no regrets using them, but the Service operation has proven to be increasingly incompetent.

Thanks.National Pool Partners officially launched in January 2021, hoping to revolutionize the pool service industry by creating a profitable, technology-enabled company that modernizes the industry while improving the lives of partners, owners, customers and teammates. The venture is supported by over $200 million of capital with a target to service 100,000 pools across the Sun Belt. Founding partners Hal Denbar, owner of Patriot Pool & Spa in Austin, Texas; and Eddie Skehan, owner of T&D Pool & Spa near Orlando, Florida, have joined NPP. NPP has spent the last year preparing for launch and will announce more partners in the first half of 2021. More Here (https://poolpromag.com/launch-of-national-pool-partners/)

My neighbor uses Tri County and she is 100% satisfied. I call them this morning and a rep came out to give me an estimate. Very professional and they clean the filter every other week not once a month. They were a little less expensive then T&D. I hired them.

No, not here. When a friend asks me for a recommendation, I always add a caveat to check the latest reviews. Reputations can change quickly.

How about Sparkling Waters? We had them inspect the pool on the house we are buying and the young fellow seemed honest and competent,

We have been using Central Pool & Spa Services for 2 months. Chris is great. Cleans and updates chemicals weekly. Highly recommend his company.
