View Full Version : Xfinity Motorola Cell Phone Troubles

While I wait endlessly to speak to a tech person at Xfinity, wanted to reach out and see if anyone has the Motorola cell phone thru Xfinity. Every time I tap my google icon it opens and quickly closes; same issue when I want to check my Gmail. Just started today, not sure what to do. If you've had the same experience, let me know how you fixed it. I'll call Xfinity too and wait.........

There was/is a problem with Android Webview and Gmail that started yesterday afternoon. Here's an article about it and what you can do to fix it.

Xfinity tried to to help, it is still not working. They are now sending me to Motorola, OMG

Hang up from xfinity and Motorola. The poster just above this is correct.
I had the same problem this morning and the fix worked.
By the way, your computer will get Google and Gmail just fine. It's the Webview and Chrome on the phone causing the problem. Do the two updates!.

Just hung up with Motorola, they hooked me up! Whew, back in the game. Thank you for your responses!!!
