Florida has done away with the right of each community to self-determine what's in their best interest and implemented a big, central government. And, those of us who have to pay the impact that newbies ae causing can be described as socialism. Why make newbies be personally responsible for the impact they create, when they can get everyone to pay for it?

I was born in FL and lived here most of my life. If you were not born here you are newbies to me.

I've lived in FL full-time for 35 years, and part-time for another 6 years. All of my 6 home purchases were re-sale homes. I caused no new, impact. No new roads or other infrastructure had to be built.

Whatever. But we are talking impact fees vs. people like you having to pay for the new impact, not if one was born here or not.

All my days are great. Thanks. If I didn't want to pay the price of living here I would not.
