Hi Folks,
I've become a near constant lurker here on the forum and have learned an incredible amount about The Villages from the postings. We will be making our first visit hopefully next February. In the meantime, can any of you point me in the direction of some on-line photographs that might help my wife and I understand what a cluster of homes look like, sorta' taken as if from your front door view? I've spent quite a bit of time looking at real-estate listings and am getting a pretty good feel for the homes; patio villas, courtyard villas through cottages but still would very much enjoy seeing how they look from a street view.
Any help will be most greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Very few of these are of the neighborhoods though. Most of are the squares and/or wilderness areas.

Search Youtube, flicker and other photo sights. You might also want to use Google Earth to get an overview.

Thanks for the ideas. The You Tube golf cart tour was pretty helpful. I'll continue searching the photo sites too. Have a nice week.

If you want to see inside of a house I have pictures of ours under albums above.

Press Quick Links. Then go to all albums. There are a lot of nice pictures you might enjoy from everyone!

You have a lovely home, Gracie, a wonderful example for Burkey to see..... AND, you're quite the artist if I do say so!

You should go to The Villages website and request a DVD of The Villages. It is free and lasts about 30 minutes. It will show you much about The Villages.

That video is terrific. Sweetie and I sat here and watched it and watched it last night. We are so homesick for TV!!

Here's the link again.

Hmm. That didn't seem to work. Go back to first part and see it there....or someone copy it so it is on this page...

I have a lot of pictures on my Home Server of TV for anyone to view. The link is https://latitude41n.homeserver.com/

You may have to cut and paste the URL into your browser if you do not see the web site.

Also these pictures are large in file size and it may take some time to download depending on your connection. In the December 2009 Homes section you will see a picture of a home and then the next picture is the model of the home.

In the December 2008 set you will see a lot of homes pictures taken just walking around the Village of Bonnybrook.

Also there are a bunch of car show and motorcycle pictures.

Hawkwind - incredible! Thank you so much.
And again, a thanks to all. We live in northern Vermont about 30 miles from the Canadian border. We are very much looking forward to our first first down to The Villages hopefully in February. Both my wife and I teach at a small state college up here, Lyndon State College to be a bit more precise. So trips for us need to be based around breaks. These pictures and videos you have pointed us to are a big help.
