At 4:15 we were taken to our booth at Naldo's on 466-Usually you're given chips and salsa right away or shortly after being seated. This was not the case but I said okay I'll wait.Between 4:16 and 4:22 two different servers would walk by but we were totally ignored. At 4:23 we made eye contact with both servers so at least they now knew we were there but still no chips, salsa or taking drink order. At 4:25 I decided enough is enough and proceeded to leave. At the door I told the manager nobody made an attempt to take care of us and that due to terrible service,we wouldn't be back.He looked and smiled and laughed.

They have excellent food. We got some take out from them. I would try that way next time.

We can't know what was going on behind the scenes and why you weren't attended to immediately upon seating and it would be annoying to not at least be acknowledged. But, 10 minutes seems like a short period of time to go from being seated to complaining about terrible service.

Ten minutes is a long time to wait for chips and salsa in a Mexican restaurant. It's the first thing they do, after all, after seating people. Speedy Gonzales says "Andale!"

Whenever we feel like good Mexican food we go to Ay Jalisco in Spanish Springs. Never had a bad experience there, very good and consistent food at a reasonable price.

We've been where the OP was and it's aggravating. You go out to eat for the convenience, when it's no longer convenient (long waits) why go? Several years back we went to a new Seafood restaurant in metro Atlanta and the same thing happened but sat there just to see how long it would go on. Well, after 25 minutes we called it a day and left. Server after server made eye contact with us but never so much as came by to take our drink order. Since it was new, I sent the owner an email detailing our experience. He thanked me genuinely for taking the time to write and offered to send us vouchers for our next meal. I explained I wasn't writing for free food but he sent them anyway. I didn't use them and they closed less than a year later. Bad service will kill a restaurant quicker than Covid, take note Naldos.

Since servers make their money from tips do not understand not saying something like will be with you in a minute. To totally ignore customers is just plain dumb.

If you stood in line waiting for a table for 10 additional minutes (not at all unreasonable during this time of the year), and got your chips right when you sat down you'd be at the exact same place and time. Since this obviously wasn't your first rodeo at Naldo's, maybe a little bit of forgiveness is in order. Up to you, of course.

We, too, had a bad experience last week when we went for lunch. We were the only patrons at that time and asked to be seated outside. The man took us to a table that was in full sun, and it was a warm day. We didn't realize it until he went back inside, so we proceeded to move to the next table over which was shaded. This same man came rushing back out and was yelling at us that we shouldn't move like that on our own, and was gesturing and shaking his head. (!!!!!). Is that any way to treat your customers? After all, we were the only patrons around. So we proceeded to leave immediately and will never return.

Some people do not realize you kind of need customers to stay in business.
