He lived up to his word and waited his turn. I respect that. His reason for not making it a big public deal is his business and not mine. I do not care either way. So far, I believe he is doing a fairly good job and I am glad that I live here and not in some other, more restrictive state.

Bet he didn't have to scrap around for an appointment, and then have to go to some Walmart 20 miles away!:icon_wink:

You would not need to either now. Just like the governor. He waited his turn. Kudos for him.

The wife and I got our first shot last month and today got the second shot at UF Health in Leesburg, didn't have to drive to Orlando. Vaccines are much more available now, shouldn't have that much of a problem getting them. We got our shots before he did.

Refreshing to see a politician wait for his turn and not make a public display of it. :clap2:

I see it differently. I really wish DeSantis HAD made a public display. Some people need that type of encouragement to get vaccinated. This is why celebrities and politicians get vaccinated and make public address announcements.
Former living presidents and their wives made such public address announcements with hopes of gaining vaccine confidence in the people. One former president and former First Lady were glaringly missing from that PSA and I'm very dismayed about that.

So........
Sorry, you don't get it. PSAs are very important to gain vaccine confidence for those who are either frightened or do not understand that the vaccines are safe.
