I saw Queen in 1982, and absolutely love them. Unfortunately, my wife does not. Any groups going to the Absolute Queen concerts that I could hang out with? If so, what session should I attend? Thanks!

We saw Absolute Queen at the Savannah Center before the Pandemic and they were pretty good. We still are not comfortable going to an indoor setting with a crowd of people so we will pass on them this time around but hope to see them again sometime in the future. If you like Queen, you will enjoy the show.

Two shows each day at 3 and 7 pm on 4/27 and 4/28 at the Savannah Center.

Absolute Queen - The Villages Entertainment (https://www.thevillagesentertainment.com/buy-tickets/absolute-queen/)

This shows three nights but the bands website only lists two.

The show times for Absolute Queen are 3pm and 7pm on 4/26, 27, 28
They were sold out and then they added seats. We got a call from the box office asking if we wanted to keep or cancel the tickets since they added seats. They must have gotten a lot of calls and I let them know I was not happy that someone will be closer to us than originally planned but we chose to keep the seats as we've had both shots a month ago and we will wear masks.

I like Queen but I watched these guys on youtube and wasn't impressed.
Plus now they're selling more tickets. I'll pass for awhile.

I got my times from the bands website. Looked again at TV website and saw different times. Who is right?

We say them at Foxwoods just after they opened during the pandemic. With only 10% occupancy, they were still excellent.

Saw them the first time they were here, and thought it was one of the best concerts I had ever seen at Savannah. If you like Queen, then I would definitely recommend this show!

Nah; seen them 3 times, but we did get tickets for the Fleetwood Mac and Hall and Oates tribute bands.

I'm going solo for 3 pm, Tues. 4/27. I received the phone call too to move closer - I was already in row G, didn't want to be too close. They said I would not be sitting next to anyone so they are not putting full rows of seats in. I have already had my COVID shots too. Queen chat after the concert would be nice if anyone is interested - maybe Glenview?

Thanks everyone! I'll probably wait and see if I can get something closer to the date. If you are up in the NorthEast, there is another Queen tribute band, Almost Queen, that I saw in January 2020. IMO, their "false Freddie" is better than this band's, but they never make it down here. They are starting to run shows again, so if you are back up north, worth checking out if you are in that area.

We have seen both cover bands as well and I agree that the singer in Almost Queen does a better Freedie impersonation. That being said, both bands are worth seeing if you like Queen.
