I noticed that my standard Whirlpool electric oven doesn't seem to cook food thoroughly. I suspected that the temperature readout wasn't accurate, so I bought an inexpensive oven temperature gauge at Ace Hardware. If that gauge is correct, my oven temperature runs 50 to 100 degrees cooler than its readout shows. The oven is only about 2 1/2 years old, and was the standard oven for our brand new CYV. Have any of you experienced a similar problem, and if so, how did you remedy it? Your input is appreciated... And so are snarky comments - but ONLY IF THEY'RE REALLY FUNNY.

Try this -

How To Calibrate an Oven | Whirlpool (https://www.whirlpool.com/blog/kitchen/how-to-calibrate-an-oven.html#:~:text=Place%20a%20rack%20in%20the%20ce nter%20of%20the,sound%2C%20indicating%20it%20has%2 0come%20to%20full%20temperature).

It's not too hard to do...

Thanks for your reply. It referred me to the owners' manual, which I should've tried all along. Not sure yet, but I think it's pointed me in the right direction.
