White House Science Czar John P. Holdren said in a video interview that he would use the free market economy in a massive campaign to de-develop the US to better handle the environment by reducing US consumption.
He says resources must be diverted from "over developed countries" to fulfilling the needs of "under developed countries.
Does this sound like an administration dedicated to the growth of the US economy. This is more redistributionist clap trap from a key member of the Obama regime. Read the full article; it's not long if you want to get really aggravated at how we are being mislead on a daily basis by this regime.

This story from Fox News may be related. Holdren wants to reclassify the term "Global Warming" to "Global Climate Disruption". I guess this way they can claim that any climate spike is attributable to industrialized humans and call for the dismantling of free advanced economies.

They have been trying to put a name on it for years. And in today's environment (political that is) it has deteriorated to a political red herring.

And as we all know (most of us) there are certain things the government just needs to be out of and global warming is one. The current government can't make anything happen to help with today's economy.....why would anybody trust them to do anything right and as nebulous as global warming. It is like to put measurements on a passing cloud. I am sure somebody in Washington could make a case for trying to do it.....if there was something in it for them....that is the establishment!!!!

Remember a few months ago when the Obama/Holdren plan was announced to shut down NASA's human spaceflight program?

My friend Homer Hickam who was an aerospace engineer for NASA and is now a best selling author said in his blog, "John Holdren, the head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, is a climate change loon who now has his hands on all the levers to make NASA into his image.

"In more serious societies, John Holdren would not be allowed anywhere near the center of power. He would be the daffy professor on the old bike teetering to his class where his students would snicker at him and throw spitballs when he turned his back. What have we come to in this country to put such a man over our space and science programs?"
