My Hunter irrigation system will only water Zone 1, even when I put it on manual, for other zones. For example, Zone 2 will say its being watered but it isn't, Zone 1 always runs. I watched the videos but none addressed the problem. Any suggestions? Recommendations for a Hunter tech?

Swap the wires from Zone 1 to zone 2. Phillips screwdriver, takes 30 seconds.
Trigger either zone. If the new "zone 1" doesn't irrigate, it's the valve for your actual zone 2.(could also be the wire or wire nuts)
If the New "Zone 2"(old zone 1, known to work) doesn't irrigate, the problem is the controller.
Once you've figured out which it is, the solution will reveal itself.

It sounds like your outside solenoid valve may not be opening for Zone 2. Those valves are in an underground box in the front yard. I would check to see if there is a disconnected wire. Also, you can open the valve manually to see if it may be stuck.

Look in the box to see if anything chewed the wires.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I switched solenoids and it worked. So I know I have to replace a solenoid, but might as well do both. Now, if the previous owners only put that darn bush further away from the irrigation box. I have 14 inches between the air conditioner and a bush and that's after cutting it back.

Before you go digging, check the wiring. It's probably the valve but if you change the wires in the irrigation box, you can eliminate the wiring as the culprit. Digging up those valves can be a pain.
