My TV set is on the other side of the room where the windows are (with plantation shutters)...since light can come through and I can see the glare on the TV, I was wondering if anyone has curtains over their shutters.

If you want sun/glare control, I would suggest old-fashioned roller shades. You can get them quite thick ~ they will control the sun for a reasonable cost and will roll up out of sight when not wanted. Use an overmount behind the plantation shutters. An inner-mount will let glimmers of light in around the edges.

Thank you but it doesn't look like enough room between the shutters and the window :(

You can do anything you want but I’ve had 15 homes or condos 6 in the villages , I’ve had plantation shutters in most of them , there is no point in having plantation shutters with curtains you are going for a clean look with shutters . I only watch day time tv during NFL season but most TV’S now made are supposed to cut out the glare I’ve only been told that but from watching games I don’t see a glare
