We have a new atomic car and we love it.
But, like most golf carts...the ride is not a gentle one.
Has anyone had coil springs installed on their golf cart and did it make a difference?
Or, does anyone have another idea in order to make the ride a smoother one?

Thanks
Julie

I just did an internet search, newer carts appear to have coil springs over shocks, if your has leaf springs that did not appear to be any info on conversion to coil over shock type suspension. There were several suggestions regarding various bushings that may have worn out.

Most coil overs are adjustable.... hopefully you have the adjustable type!

I would replace the shocks with Monroe air shocks.

I believe the Monroe MA785 would fit. This is what the Yesteryear brand uses, or rather what will fit. They actually uses a shock that Harley customizers use.

Note to Google Wise person's, I have done it. It doesn't matter what a Google search says.

What platform does Yesteryear sit on?

I think suspension either leaf springs with shocks, or coil over shocks with coils over the shocks. Usually the cheap coil overs used on light weight recreational vehicles are none adjustable. You can see if you’re tire pressure set too high? If so This will stiffen up the ride. But, go to low the tires will wear quicker?
