Played Roosevelt yesterday. The greens are in the absolute worst condition of ant greens I have seen in the six years of living here. Just pathetic!

They have been punched and sanded. Not much you can do when this happens. At least they are doing maintenance to the courses.

I understand aeration and over sanding, but there was not enough sand to fill the holes. The unfilled holes cause the ball to bounce in different directions. Plus some of the greens had at best 20% grass.

You could demand a refund of your greens fee.

Our yards are looking pretty bad too even with good watering and proper care. It's been bloomin' hot and no drenching rains.

With the use the executive courses get I'm always surprised there is any grass. The lack of fixing one's divots doesn't help either.

We played there today, and yes greens in bad shape to play normal, but maintenance has to be done sometime. The sand was level when they first did it. Between the hard rain knocking some out and the normal filtering into the dirt that sand does , you have to expect that. Give it a few weeks and you’ll be glad they actually do maintenance. Plus as long as you are halfway good, your tee shot should end up on all 8 par 3s and then two put and you’re par. Plus sometimes the bumps and holes actually direct a bad putt the right was. Win win. 😀
