Can someone who has a Begonia provide:

The width of the two master bedroom windows and the master bedroom slider? Hard to exactly tell from the blueprint I have.

Linda is making a matching set (coordinating set actually) of window & slider valances, sham covers and bed scarf.

Thanks.

Linda is after my heart!:clap2::clap2: I did the same thing. I called our rep who sold us the place and he measured those windows and the windows in the kitchen. I made valances and a to the floor table cover. (fits under glass) I just love to hear how people decorate their somewhat similar homes.

I wish Tony would give us a decorator thread.

Making something for the house and shopping for accessories makes the wait a little easier!

What are your color choices Russ?

She bought a quilt like pattern for the bed scarf which has about 10 different repeating squares (4 inches wide?). They then sell full bolts of each separate 4 inch pattern to match so we picked a couple. Kind of busy but it works. But what the heck to I know?:) (JoAnn fabric)

The idea is to use the scarf as the base and then have a few sets of shams, and window dressings to mix/match. Basic colors are a deep blue with brown.

We are not the most creative people so we're going to need help picking out wall pieces and other accessories when we move.

Just visit as many friends as possible, find the house decor you really like and then get them to help.

I made all the valences for both our home and the rental home. Still got a couple more to do, but getting closer every day.

Not to pour water on anyone's plans; just to observe that this widower has been perfectly happy with 5+ years wherein there hasn't been any, repeat any, interior decorating!

Swrin, if you're happy and the cat's happy, then everybody who needs to be happy in your house is happy. Thats all that matters!:coolsmiley:
