Royal Caribbean to resume sailing from U.S. ports this summer

After being docked by the pandemic for more than a year, the U.S. cruise industry is gearing up to resume operations this summer. Royal Caribbean on Friday said six of its ships would start sailing from ports in Florida and Texas beginning next month.

Not sailing until they require all passengers to be vaccinated.

Not sailing until they require all passengers to be vaccinated.

Right now, as far as I can tell, in 2021 the cruise lines that are requiring a vaccination for all passengers that embark or debark in Florida ports are:

Crystal
HAL
NCL
Oceania
Regent
Silversea

More room for me.

Personally, I would prefer not to sail with anyone who felt they had a right to be that involved in my business.

So, you don''t believe your own vaccine worked?

I believe my vaccines worked. The reason I will not sail on RC is if there is an outbreak of non-vaccinated people and the ship could not dock. I would be livid.

While I will not take a cruise again (bad sea legs) I absolutely wish him the best I pray that they’re able to get up and get running and get back into full swing

Just imagine the liability of taking on non-vaccinated people on what should be a wonderful vacation that could be a cruise to nowhere? Can you imagine sitting at a table with someone bragging to you that they did not get vaccinated? Stuck on a ship in your cabin not knowing what is going to happen to you all because someone did not care about your rights, just their rights.
No I will not get on any ship that does not require proof of vaccination. DeSantis is going to destroy a big part of our tourism if cruise lines have to move to other states in order to protect their passengers. I will gladly fly or drive to other states to sail using cruise lines that insist on making sure their passengers are safe and are able to enjoy their cruise. No Royal Caribbean for me.

Not getting the shot (not a vaccine) just so you can sail.

All the statements in red are idiotic and inaccurate.
