This morning found a "Gourmet Meat & Cheese" basket delivered by Flowers of Lady Lake. It was outside in the 97 degree heat at least overnight. I attempted to contact them to find out if the items were now dangerous. There was no contact from them that they were delivering anything....my phone number is clearly on the card.

The business has an "F" rating with BBB because they don't respond to complaints. Also, they seem to have the same address as Lowball Louie's cigar shop. I don't think I would be eating any food that they delivered.

Following a number of phone calls, the company, Flowers of Lady Lake, agreed to exchange the "tainted" $121.00 gourmet meat and cheese basket for a new one. The delivery person was the same one who abandoned the perishable items the day before in the sweltering heat.
"I knocked. You weren't home."
"Spoiled food can kill, especially older individuals."
"Well, I'm new."
Replacement basket has fewer items than the original.

The same delivery person-perhaps they are paid by the delivery and the person who made the mistake had to absorb the cost of re-delivery.

Far as internet ordering, food and DRUGS are common. Your drug, how long was it sitting in a hot truck, in a mail sorting station etc.
