We stopped for a couple of nut rolls, a day before their official opening. Unfortunately, they were sold out of them. We will have to go back and get some.

While I would not call it a deli with cases of food from which to make a selection - other than a small bakery area - all meals/sandwiches are available to eat in and togo. We have enjoyed the food - but remember - it might not be like your Mother used to make or the same as what you have grown accustomed to! And I suggest perusing the menu and calling ahead to make sure what you are interested in is or can be available. We're hoping there will still be nights with the Polish music that we can enjoy when we get back!

Has anyone tried the Polish deli on route 441 right after the split from 27 in Leesburg? Not a restaurant but very good Polish food including sausages, pierogi and other original and authentic food. Highly recommend.

It's not a deli.....no over-the-counter sliced meats or take and heat items. Had the assorted platter for lunch. Very disappointing tired stuffed cabbage from the steam table. Perogies just O.K. Sausage mealy. Nope. There is a Polish spot in Leesburg that boasts very high ratings.

Geez if they spent more time on their Air Force back in 1939 instead of making sausage we could have had a nicer world....

They make the BEST homemade pierogi I have had since coming down. They have not just potato and cheese, but the traditional sauerkraut. I buy them, freeze them, and bring them to my kids in NY.

Yes, I have visited and purchased sausages, cabbage rolls, pierogis, and canned goods. Worth a visit, but not as good as my bubby:

We went once and won't return. Not good. The kielbasa was dry. IMO it won't make it.

We were disappointed. Ordered two take-out meals. Tiny portions, shorted us on one order and overall mediocre cooking. Prefer the shop in Leesburg for sausages, hunter's stew etc.

Yes they have good sausage they only sell meat over the counter no sandwiches etc. Cash required under 20 dollars you can use credit cards if your total is over 20 dollars.

Was just there last night with friends. The food was really great and those in our group who know, said quite authentic. The server was very efficient, attentive and instantly had a kitchen error corrected. The lace curtains and accordion player added to the atmosphere.

Polish Deli in Leesburg is much better. The couple who own it are from Poland and make all their own sausages and meats. Outstanding. They make their own cabbage rolls and get authentic bread and poppyseed and nut rolls flown in from a polish bakery up north.
The Polish Deli in Leesburg is the real deal. You won't be disappointed.

We went last week and it was great. 3 of us had the platter which was enough food...one one took home the doggie bag.

According to Google Maps, from the North, I have to drive all the way to Fenney and turn around to access the Polan Deli, because it is on the East side of Rt 301. Is that correct?

The PolanDeli (restaurant) is located on the east side of Rt 301 (S Main St) just north of the Turnpike. Google maps is showing a left-turn lane off of Rt 301 right across from it. You shouldn't have to go to Fenney for a U-turn.

Yes, they have very good sausages, some canned foods and pastries around Christmas. The pierogi is frozen, from Chicago, I think. It’s good.

If you are looking for good Polish food to cook at home, experience the Polish Deli on 441 S. They have fresh Kielbasa, Hunter's Stew, Pierogi's in different flavors and all sort of Polish desserts. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 10-5. I shop there every week for the fresh ring balonga and kielbasa. They also carry the smoked Kielbasa.

Polan deli is not good and its a restaurant not a deli. The Polish deli on Rt 441 is OK with a very limited selection and its overpriced.
When I go to Clearwater Beach I stop in Dunedin at a real Polish deli with homemade prepared hot foods, desserts, kilebasi, stuffed cabbage, bigos, pierogis, breads, cold cuts, babkas...its priced right with an extensive selection of goods...like a little Polish supermarket. I stock up and its the best I found so far

Individual likes and dislikes concerning food is totally subjective. My wife is German born and raised and an excellent cook, however her cooking tastes different than her mother's. Her mother was originally from Bohemia but they were ethnic Germans. Her cooking style was influenced by the area she grew up in. In Europe different in areas of the same country, foods will taste a bit different due to the spices and ingredients used. What you are used to determines what you like, so don't let another person's opinion on a restaurant overly influence you. The wife and I have eaten at the restaurant in question and thought the food was good. I'm not Polish and have never eaten Polish food before so I have nothing to compare it to. Try it yourself and see if it meets your expectations.
