If I get a 4-inch lift. I am concerned that I might not be able to get in and out of tunnels going to and from gold courses.
I discovered in the last week that Manufactures supply chains are severely disrupted due to Covid-19. My low-profile tires 175/50/13 are NOT standard. Some dealers and manufactures are telling me that these tires might not be available until next year. I can't wait that long. I am hearing that it is not just non-standard parts that are back-ordered but products, in general, are in SHORT SUPPLY. I am damned if I do a lift and damned if I don't. I am thinking that if I get a lift I can put monster tires ( that are available) on the cart and pick up 1 to 2 miles more speed and have a decent set of tires.
Any comment or ideas would be appreciated?

IMHO, golf carts tend to be slightly unstable in turns (high center of gravity), and you are going to make this much worse by increasing the speed and increasing the height, I hope at least you have and use seat belts.

Jack it up and use standard 8” golf cart tires. LOL. You would have high low rider :). I don’t get the fascination of lifting golf cart in the villages?

Does not seem to be a good idea. Good way to upset the cart.

I come close to hitting the tunnels without a lift, can’t imagine going through some tunnels if the cart was lifted.

On Amazon, you can get new wheels and tires that do not require a lift kit. I just got 14" rims with low profile tires and a lift kit wasn't required. If the reason you want to go with larger wheels is to add a couple more mph, it doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Point here is, there ARE new wheels and tires available right now on Amazon.
