They called me today. I gave them the brush. Up in these parts, The Historic Section their cell phone service is spotty at best. How are they going to handle the internet?

I would let someone else be the test case.

Have you checked to see if it's available at your address? If it is, I'd give it a try. It's a pretty sweet deal - $50/month for life, no data cap, no contract. It's available at my address in Duval and I'll be trying it when we return this fall.

I have one on order for our house here in Iowa and should have it in a couple of weeks. Read lots of good reports on it. We'll see.

My prediction, it's not going to be too good. I can't believe it. I'm sticking with Comcast! They have gotten better over the years.

I’ve been with Comcast for 15+ years using their internet service only. I have never paid more than $40/month for service that has given me speeds of 113 + Mbps which works great for my streaming needs. A Comcast rep told me years ago to always call from the 25th to the last day of the month to get the best price. Why I don’t know. I called 6/25/21 to renew my one year plan at $40 (actually $50 but they give a$10 discount for auto pay) and with a hint that I was considering Spectrum if I couldn’t renew at $40 I would change providers. Bingo! With a phone call once a year it’s done.

They might be working on monthly quotas??
