Hi All,

This is my first post, but I have been lurking for what seems like forever.

We had visited TV in 12/2008 while visiting family in the Orlando area, then we were there for a week last Christmas. Each time we just couldn't find something we both wanted. Then over Labor Day weekend we did the LPP. We finally found a villa that we both liked and made an offer on a pre-owned. We just closed this past Wednesday.

:coolsmiley::BigApplause: Congrats. You won't regret moving to TV one bit. It's like being on vacation everyday.

May the roof of your house never fall in, and those beneath it
never fall out. An Irish Blessing

Kim and Jim....Congrats on your new home! Which village are you in? Is your avatar a pic of your villa? I like it, I like it! Palm tress are a MUST for us when we relocate to TV....one day! :sigh:

Yes, my avatar is the front of our villa. It is in Belle Aire - Summerchase cottages. We aren't sure how long it will be before we can actually move to TV. Have to sell the NH house and wait for Jim's plant to move. The latest word is that will be in the spring. They keep moving the date though - it was already supposed to have happened this year!

I will not have the "luxury" of retiring once we move though. :cus: But on the bright side, I will be able to work at my current job from home. As long as I have phone access and an internet connection I can work from anywhere. I think my new "office" will be on the lanai! ;)

Congrats! Can't wait to talk to you. You'll love Belle Aire. Some really super people live there (course, really super people live in all of the villages).

Looks like you will have a great office. Best wishes on selling and your husband's job. Everything happens for a reason, so be patient!!

Kim,
We bought a home in Belle Aire last spring. I think you will love it there! We have 26 months left till retirement, for now we visit as often as we can. Maybe we will meet up on our walks! I will be the one with the adorable Cairn terrier! Cathie

currently Northern NY, dreaming of Belle Aire visits

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. :highfive:

The Palm trees are beautiful. Something I have on my wish list when I finally get to be an owner.

Still a wannabe - 2b
