I recently purchased a used computer tower for temporary use (need it for approx. 8 months). The installed operating system is Windows XP Home and the installed browser is Windows 8.
My problem is this: When I attempt to access the Sumter Landing web cam I get the following message in the screen area:
"The Activex Camera Control which enables you to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer could not be registered on your computer".
I have tried almost everything to resolve this issue but cannot find a fix to bring up the actual live stream.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I will certainly appreciate your help.
I have 2 other computers with XP Home and Windows 7 and both of these work fine?
