I just received a letter from FHV that he passed away.
I had not heard of this or read about it. He was only 49.
RIP.

WOW, if that is true that's horrible. He was one of my cardiologist and signed me out of the hospital after my heart attack. I did not get any notice from FHV.
I just read that he passed away several days ago. So sorry to hear that. He was a great Dr and wonderful person.

I wanted to know if he had an illness or was infectious, so if we would need medical treatment?

With such a sudden death, you can pretty much rule out any infectious illness.
If it were the case, you would be recalled.
Seems to me the poor chap had a major stroke or heart attack.

If, that is so, an interesting irony. A heart doctor passing from a circulatory issue.
My cousin, we used to be close before he changed his first name to doctor. His wife has cancer. We do not often think of our doctors as being HUMAN with families etc etc.
A question impossible to answer. Would you want to know, this is your last day? If, you did know, would you enjoy your last day? Today, assuming it is not your last day might be a good day to address at least one thing you regret.

That is a good question for another thread.
