We have an At Ease and stacked the washer/dryer. This left us with maybe 3 to 4 feet between them and the AC, and the wife says she hates looking at the wires and hoses. Has anyone put a cabinet suitable for the laundry room in a similar space? Something to store dirty clothes, detergent, etc, and maybe a folding station. If you did, was it reasonable, and where do I get one or who installed it for you?

I'm curious, what make/model stackables did you choose?

Since I'm not in TV now I don't know the model numbers. I do know that they are Whirlpool duets and they both are the steam models. I know that the steam function on the dryer works great for freshening and wrinkles. Got them from Appliance Direct on 441. We've had Whirlpool appliances for years and have had good luck with them. I assume most brands these days are good.

Try Custom Home Closets at 9813 N US Hwy 301, Wildwood, FL 34785. They put cabinets in our laundry room and I thought the price was very reasonable. Talk to Tammie at 352-748-9189
