Do Not Use The Flag Pole Guy according to his ad. His name is Richard Pfleger phone # 352-301-3483 or 609-597-3483
His pole is not well made, unable to lower without using wrenches. ($240.00) He is a Bully and that is putting it lighltly. My elderly sister also asked him to hang a piece of lattice on the was to use as a pe board. He installed a piece of lattice with a nail gun flush to the wall. ($84.00). He was just belittling insulting rude, sarcastic bully and impossible to get him back to fix his useless work. When he finally did come back 2 ½ months later he was rude and obnoxious . Threw him off the property and told him we were spreading the word. His answer was go right ahead.

I run a handyman operation and I am simply surprised how much people pay this guy.

I only hire people for tasks I can’t do myself. It’s truly amazing how many people in TV aren’t self reliant.

True but it may be difficult for an elderly sister to install a flag pole and lattice.

On the contrary, we used a similarly named company to install our flagpole and had a wonderful experience. Reach out to Therm at The Villages Flagpole at therm@villageflagpoles.com. He was so courteous and prompt. Great experience and our favorite upgrade to our home.

Cheers,

Dylan

I think your comment is very rude. Do you really expect an elderly woman to install a flag pole herself? Not everyone is as handy as you seem to think you are, and not everyone is as knowledgeable, or physically able to do the things that you can do. So before you judge another person's ability, get to know that person first. As they say - Walk a mile in her shoes.

Great reply. Another issue is that I am retired and do not choose to install a flag pole.

I can do lots of things myself, but don't always want to and am fortunate enough to be able to pay someone to do it for me.

Really? Hiring out equates with not being self reliant? If you think hard enough I’m sure you can find others reasons why some choose not to do it themselves.

Therm is wonderful. Did our pole and we get fresh flags from him every year. Plus he’s a vet.

Keep in mind when you pull an ad to use that person you are paying his expense to advertise so it’s bumped up at least 20%. Alway get 3 quotes like you did up north. If it can wait why not put it off until the craziness in the economy subsides.

Had him do a few things Charged $36 per hourDoes a lot of talking and then charges for that as well Put in under cabinet lighting and secured with black electrical tape and wires hanging out
Also charges for time running to store for supplies Didn’t pay him what he wanted but paid a considerable amount to get him out of my house. Ladies beware

Got an email into him now to hopefully get set up. Thanks again for the recommendations when we got the warning. Nice to know who we SHOULD use too!
