Desperate Need for Storage

Kevin Tucker and I are presidents of The Villages Habitat for Humanity Club. We just finished building and decorating our first house in Fruitland Park. Our problem is because of the generosity of Villagers we have enough furniture for our second house that we will start construction in the fall. Lake Sumter Habitat was able to provide us storage in the past, but that option no longer exists. We need approximately a 5x10 space but our Club can't afford the monthly rate of the storage companies around The Villages. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for us?

My suggestion would be to sell the furniture and use the money to buy more furniture when the house is constructed. Even if you could afford a storage space, it doesn't seem cost effective to move used furniture into storage, pay for the storage, and then move it again in 6 months or so.

Did you try calling the local storage places to see if they could donate a small locker for free advertising?
