Enterprise and Hertz at Lake Sumter.
Leesburg off camp!

Enterprise Rental Cars in Lake Sumter Landing is probably the closest. Not sure about a military discount. If you're a Costco member look on their website. They often beat the rental car website's prices.

Definitely call first, cars are in short supply.

Enterprise is in Lake Sumter Landing near Bravo Pizza. Hertz is in Spanish Springs in the MVP Athletic building. And AVIS/Budget is in Leesburg, near the airport.

Check turo.com. They have some cars for 50 a day

Be very, very, very wary of turo.com. You are not renting from a company, but from individuals. The insurance considerations are enough to turn you off.

Have always found the best price at Budget or Avis in Leesburg on 441. If you are an AARP member, you can get 30% off using their code.

Nation wide there is a shortage of rental cars..including here in TV. Book as far in advance as possible. Due to an emergency I tried to rent a car 1 day in advance…nothing available in TV at Enterprise and Hertz…had to go to Hertz in Leesburg.

I just booked a small SUV through Enterprise for 4 days at $55 a day unlimited miles.
I don't think any rentals can be rented at one site and dropped off at another site.

Turo has great insurance . Even better than chains as they use your insurance.

We have rented several times through Costco. You can rent online through Costco travel. They will provide you with several reputable rental car companies and various pick up locations and prices for each. Their prices are great and they allow two drivers for the car. Inventory is very low right now so even their prices are higher than we have paid in the past.

I wanted a one way TV to MCO couple weeks ago, no one wanted to give up their cars for a one way. Coming back the rate from MCO was $$$. Not worth the expense

Take pictures from all angles of the car including any scratches found, that way you will have proof that you did not do the damage, I have used a lot of car rentals and I always did that, one tried to tell me that I did damage, my pictures cleared me of any wrongdoing.

Hertz or Enterprise
Keep one thing in mind.
If you do a round trip out of Orlando you will get a better rate.
They will bang you up if you do one way.
Also knowing your dates in advance will get you a better rate.
You can do a round trip rental here in the villages but they will require some lead time otherwise the rate will suffer.
