You might call WVLG. They have a show (I think weekly) with a representative of an animal shelter. Usually it's cats and dogs but a person from there might have a contact person who could deal with an injured bird. My guess is that WVLG has the number.

Thank you! Witnessed it..... flew into a car so I don't think the car could avoid it. Anyhow what I did not know is that heron does not have a mate for life. There was another heron nearby.....which is the one that caused it to fly into the car to protect its territory, wanted to kill it when it was injured. My hubby saved the day by keeping it away from the injured bird, let's hope wild lifer's can save its life. Clearly a broken leg. Two important numbers I will save for future:
