hire a petsitter, it's cost effective & easier on the dog. i only used 1 boarding facility, over on 466 by the tire dealer & funeral home. (i thinks it's Buffalo Ridge something). the facility is nice but much too loud for some sensitive pets.

I use Pet Lodge and Spa, Hwy 441 by Home Depot. They have cameras so you
can check on your dog.

We use Sumter County Animal Hospital for grooming, vet, and boarding. They are excellent.

You may want to check the online service "Rover" - I have used it for several years in many places and have found the best places for my small dog. I recently found a lovely lady in the Villages for a one day visit for my dog there. Good luck!
