Oh Rion, our 11-year-old Lab puppy, in his favorite nappy time spot, under my desk. If he looks annoyed it is because I woke him to take the photo.

Beautiful. I'm a sucker for senior dogs. We foster them and have our own, 13.5-yr-old Crosby the Golden. Gracie painted the most beautiful watercolor of him. This particular picture cracks me up because DH is looking so stern and Crosby the Happy Loon doesn't have a clue...

Thanks, Rion is a Lab, which means he smiles a lot and loves people. But, as he gets older, he does not being woken up from a nap he is enjoying - :)

Yes, I had a golden retriever for 12 years, his name was Taffy. A warm, loving, friendly dog.
I met Taffy’s mother when he was a little pup. The breeder was the top breeder in the country and he had the mother of Taffy in his home, his other bitches were bred with various other families, one dog one home.

Maybe some others will post pictures of their cats and dogs. Such a nice diversion from everything that's going on right now.

I love Rion! He’s incredible. I had Labs for most of my life. They’re the best. We now have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They’re incredible little dogs but not a Lab.
You made my day. Thank you!

Abby just turned 12 a few days ago. Everyday is a Blessing. Its hard to see that muzzle going grey on our senior dogs. Since she was a puppy she decided her job was to bring the paper in every morning. Problem is...she holds it hostage until she gets breakfast.

This should be a mandatory, daily thread!! Pictures of our beautiful animals (dogs, cats, birds, fish, whatever) of any age.
Puppies are just adorable but nothing beats the faces of our senior dogs (kind of like us).

Guest cat looking for treats. Known him since he was a small cat. There are a few who visit. I lost my dear cat friend and now have a few guest visitors instead.

I believe cats think if they stick their tongue out a little like that, people will do anything for them. They are not entirely wrong - LOL

Until they're either adopted (ours actually were, even as seniors) or we had one sanctuary foster Golden who came to us at age 15 and lived to be 16.

I am trying to get a photo of our Great Pyrenees to post, but every time I get down on the floor to take it, he comes over to see what's wrong with me and licks my face until I get up.
I will have to sneak up on him and get one before he realizes I am there.

Thank you for your pictures, very cute we had a Westie that past a few years back.
This is where I wanted to stop my comment and hate how everything seems to turn on this site, but your statement/comments at the bottom of your post compelled me to continue.
I’m sorry that you feel so strongly about vaccinations,
“They're shots (not vaccines).
They're experimental and the experiment is not over.
I'm not getting them (ever). About 90 million people agree (USA).
And, I'm not wearing the damn mask.
Majority doesn't rule here. My body, my choice. Get over it.”
I hope and pray that you, your grandchildren or other family members aren’t affected and become very ill or god forbid die because of your (Freedom to Choose) decision.
I struggle to understand, even some in my own family have the same viewpoint. Is it political, religious, fear, stubbornness or misinformed stupidity? “My body, my choice” what’s your stand on abortion same “battle cry”? If you travel overseas your required to be vaccinated. My profession required random drug testing, that violated my body my choice, but the safety of the traveling public superseded my rights and because I couldn’t survive on a fast food salary I stayed.
This is about protecting your fellow man (Matthew 25) not being selfish.
I am vaccinated and will be wearing my”damn mask” doing my part to protect you and the “90 million”, albeit a shrinking number account of some getting ill or are dead.
I’ll get over it and pray, that if you get Covid you’ll “Get Over It”.

I am sorry yo9u felt the need to bring that into this thread about pets. A simple one line in your signature would state your position.

Me too, as I said “I hate how this site turns” and because of the statement on the bottom of this posters post, that in of itself brings it to every post he does with or without pets.
Sorry to be a Grumpy Old Man.
Be safe one and all.
