When I entered I was informed there we’re 134 COVID cases occupying beds. Only one person was allowed to accompany me to complete paperwork, I would like for everyone to know that they handled the situation extremely well. Everyone that I encountered was very professional…

My guess - TV is not for you. Why did you move here? To tell others to give up and that there is no hope - and that we should aspire to live forever - by staying in isolation?

I moved here because I want to live! I moved here because I figured many / most people here were from the generation - that didn’t give up - because most of us know - there is always something ‘around the corner’ that will be the next challenge to overcome. Life is living - good and bad.

My husband golfed with an ICU nurse this week and she works at hospital in The Villages. She said they have no open ICU beds and all ventilators are being used. They are having to ship people a few hundred miles to find beds for them. The unvaxed COVID patients are stretching their limits. She said she body bagged a 30 year old last week. Also said the county officials are trying to keep it all quiet so they don’t have egg on their faces. People’s health doesn’t seem to be a top priority or officials would get the word out to let people know how things are. Don’t get in an accident or have a heart attack. There are just no ICU beds.

It is my opinion that most of the folks hospitalized for treatment of Covid currently are the unvaccinated people. However....I think that we are all going to catch it pretty soon, vaccinated or not. Please consider getting shot if you have not done so.

Facts have a funny way of getting in the way of some peoples narratives. Fact: hospitalizations from COVID are over 90% unvaccinated. Deaths of vaccinated from COVID is extremely rare. Children continue to have overwhelming mild cases and very rare hospitalization and almost no deaths. The original post was another attempt to shame everyone for getting on with their lives and enjoying the time we have left.

Paul Craig Roberts from the Institute for Political Economy who cites Dr. Malone as his expert and provides quotes from sources he does not seem to identify? Yeah, ok.

Duck Duck Go and Google seem to provide the same collection of sources including CDC, NBS, MSNBC, and KFF. The only entry I saw that disputed the 90% was from Wisconsin and that article claimed it was only 77% which does NOT say that most new cases are vaccinated.

"If you don't count it then that's proof it isn't true!" No. Wisconsin appears to have tried to count. That article provides proof that it is not 90%, it is only 77%. Even then, you are arguing about whether vaccinated people get exposed to the virus. They do, no question about it, and most of them probably aren't even aware. But do those who are vaccinated and exposed become ill, fill hospitals, and die? THOSE numbers are collected and they are incredibly small.

First the issue was that a person that was totally against the vaccine and wearing masks had been taking up space in a hospital.
You focused on 1 aspect of the topic. I've taken both vaccines,, I wear a mask when indoors, I restarted wearing a mask in Publix.
I also donate to Saint Jude's. If I could do more I would, But I'm the sole caretaker of my wife who is in a wheel chair. No it's not just lip service.

Children make up about 2.4% of hospitalized COVID patients. Since the onset of COVID, about 400 children have died from the virus. To put that in perspective, in that same timeframe, over 70,000 children have died from other causes…
Dr. Hotez of Baylor University states that many children will suffer long-haul CV symptoms such as brain gray matter decreases, lung and breathing problems, and several other symptoms. I, personally, have seen and heard him say this at least 5 times on national TV. It can easily be checked. He also predicts that most schools will not be able to finish open for the whole school year. The statistics for deaths for children are not the end-all and be-all for the GREAT RISK to this generation of children. I don't see the point of using children to TRY to support one's personal belief about the societal RISK /REWARD for or against adults (or soon children) getting CV shots. I don't, personally, gain much by supporting CV shots - except that the local and nationwide hospitals would be able to have beds available and the US would go back to normal. For now, that is just a pipe-dream.

Some of us got it....went over the heads of others. Sometimes people are so close to the forest they cant see the trees.

What about the other 70,000 children who died during that same timeframe? Are you doing “everything in your power” to help prevent those deaths…
Or do those 70,000 not mean as much because the media hasn’t told you to be upset about them???
There are medical experts and Scientists knocking themselves out to lower death due to ALL diseases. The mRNA vaccines hold POTENTIAL for irradiation of many diseases - even cancer! There are Scientists, engineers, and traffic experts working hard to further develop self-driving cars for a safer future. Some traffic experts believe that one-way streets lower deaths because of fewer head-on collisions. Science NEVER stops - only people that fear change and backward leaning people (such as in Afghanistan today) can ACTUALLY stop Science. Personally, I change only slowly due to age - but, I NEVER intend to fear change!

Interesting..........I actually liked Phil Valentine a lot because he was entertaining. I would listen to him while I worked out in my yard in Tn. for many, many hours. I am a card carrying and even own one of them danged red hats but I was one of the first to get vaccinated. I would never dream to badmouth those who are poor in the inner cities who aren't getting vaccinated. All we can do is control what we choose to do and how we raise our children.

We were going to go to a show at the Sharon but first we called to determine if they were going to structure the audience as recommended by the CDC and generally intelligent residents. The answer was NO. It would be open to all! Whoever has a call on this policy is intelligent challenged. As they say "follow the money". I suspect the owners of the Sharon or who prosper from the attendance to the shows has made the decision to open this thousand seat theater up to all in order to maximize revenue and the hell to those who may get the virus based on this ignorant decision. It would be really interesting to see how many that attend get the Virus and end up in serious condition in the hospital or dead? :ohdear:
