Hello. I have seen some new construction using the prefab method (thanks to Don Wiley - GoldWingnut). These new homes are in a new section called Ty Villas.
I was wondering if prefab construction will result in lower home prices. After the last price increase the prices for courtyard villas has priced me out of buying right now.
Thanks for your input.

The price will rise and fall with the market, regardless of construction method. I would not plan for any reduction in the foreseeable future, given the current demand and inflation rate.

Marv,
The prefab isn't brand new, and has been used previously, so if the current market has you priced out, new might be out of the question.
However, used is an option and that would be trying to find a mispriced, or family disposing without much market research, of a second hand villa price. For that, you will need a real estate agent with your price, and the realtor will work to find you a villa in your price range.
good luck, and while waiting, save, save save for a bigger down payment, which is within your control. . .
