Sorry but I don’t get what “ a memorable day of golf” has to do with this story

LOL. I didn’t even notice that. Thanks

We like to take guests there but it is too expensive to go every week. They draw a good crowd without us though. There are some high goal players but it is not what I’d call “championship polo”. Just good polo in a very nice stadium

I went to a tailgate event before a Grateful Dead show.

I don't remember it!

Another strong recommendation here! We’ve attended most of the polo games played in the last 7-8 years. They put on a real show, with great loudspeaker call and explanations. To simplify things for those of you who’ve never seen a polo game, it’s like hockey on horses.

Another great investment is a membership in The Villages Polo Booster Club. For $10 a year per person, you’re hosted at parties, polo instruction lessons, tours of the stables, extra free admission games every Wednesday and sometimes Sunday mornings. There’s a membership table in the grandstand every game.

We used the Villages ticket off to buy 4 seats in the stand. Somehow, they sold us 2 in the stand and 2 tailgate tickets. Found this out when we got there and the only solution offered, was buy 2 more tickets for Stands or Tailgate, essentially buy 6 tickets for 4 participants to set together, Period!! Since we have already arrive ny Golf Cart and they refused to honor Paid Statium seating to be applied for tailgating, with lines backing up, entertaining out of town guest, we paid the Ransomed cheaper seating for the two or four person Golf Cart Slot. Best pay at the gates and risk getting seats or slot. Not like we'll return soon.

$10 a year does NOT sound expensive.. How do you join?
