...fortunately I can report to you that BOTH of these Drs are fantastic in all ways. Staff is great, procedures from both were perfect. Their caring and post-op were perfect. Can highly recommend either.

If you are in need of a root canal, make an appointment with Dr. Maria Claus in Tavares.
She recently opened her practice after many years in The Villages. She is exceptional in every way, professionally, compassionate and helpful. Anyone who has been fortunate to have her as their endodontist would recommend her. The only downside is if you were a previous patient at Orange Blossom Endodontics she can't see you because of a non compete agreement.

Another vote for Dr. Ghazal. He fixed a mistake made by a specialist in Columbus. He was amazing and saved the tooth. Can’t say enough good things about the care he gave me.

Go with Dr Witt. I’ve known him and his father my entire life. His dad was a dentist in Leesburg and I’m really good friends with Johns ex-wife. She literally just got a root canal done from him last month. So did my step mom. I live in the villages but my family is from Leesburg as am I. ( though I haven’t lived there since I went to college)

If it's the Dr. Witt who is in the office off of 441, I have used him and liked him. He did the job well and is very nice.

Have had 2 procedures done by him, and both were excellent. With the first one, he said the tooth was still in good shape and didn't need a root canal. Had to perform a root canal on the second. Called that evening to check on me. He is in the same practice as Dr Witt. They charged what was quoted by my insurance.
