Who knew Peter Noone was such a funny guy? A real showman and his voice still sounds great. We haven't laughed as much in a long time. Anyone else enjoy the concert?

I wasn't able to go this time but I know his shows are great. I've been to all of his others when he's been here. He is very humorous as well as a great performer.

We really enjoyed the show. We've been to several shows at Savannah Center over the last year and his was by far the best.

I saw him years ago at The Ohio State Fair, well after their hey-day in the 60s or 70s. He was probably in his 40s when I saw him, and it was a great show then.

My husband and I attended our first concert at the Savannah Center to see Peter Noone. What a great concert experience! The music was as good as we could have hoped....but his comedy routine....what a wonderful surprise...who knew he was so hilarious!!??
The real show topper was that he took the time to "meet and greet" and sign autographs after the show. As a teenager I had my bedroom walls plastered w/pictures of "Herman". If you had told me then that 40-some years later I'd be standing right in front of him, shaking his hand, I'd never have believed it. ONLY IN THE VILLAGES DO LIFE-LONG (teenage) DREAMS COME TRUE! LOL!!
Can't wait for his show next year...we'll be there!:BigApplause:

We saw him about 25 years ago in concert in Ft. Lauderdale and he was great. Saw him last year here, and again last night. Just as good as ever.
We've seen dozens of top performers over the years and he ranks right up there with the best. Yeah, we'll go again next year.

Dang! I had a HUGE crush on him as a teenager  - the first concert I attended was Herman's Hermits at the old McCormick Place in Chicago... my best friend and I pleaded with our parents to let us go on the South Shore with her older sister and another friend of hers. We were in Seventh Heaven though we were (I believe) in the nosebleed section! I am so jealous of anyone who got to see him at Savannah Center! :faint: Is he really coming again next year?? We aren't in TV yet but we will close soon (next week - remotely!) and I will make SURE I am at the concert next year! Not suer if I could screw up my courage to actually TOUCH him!!! :22yikes:

My husband and I were also there last night. What a fun night! We laughed so hard at some of his jokes, and we also sang along to all the songs. : )
I still haven't gotten the Henry VIII song out of my head! We'll definitely be there again next year!!

Mrs. K9 says: He still has that boyish cute face, big blue eyes, wide beautiful smile, and tousled blonde(ish) hair. He says he's fat -- but he's not. Very handsome man, wildly attractive, smart, glib and funny. And, or course, we girls could listen to that English accent for hours and hours.

My wife, dog, and I were in our golf cart heading to the softball fields at Saddlebrook where we walk our dog around the complex. A car pulled up alongside us and a young man with long black hair leaned out the window and asked for directions to the Savannah Center. We told him exactly how to get there, he thanked us, and sped off because he appeaded to late for something. I told my wife that I bet he was an entertainer, he just looked the part. The next morning I read the daily rag and low and behold, there he was on stage at the Savannah Center playing guitar for Peter. Wonder what would have happened to the show if we had not been able to direct the gentleman to the place where he had to perform.

During the concert, Peter talked about playing golf at Sunset Point, and having a bite to eat at Panera Bread in Spanish Springs. . . I wonder who else met them ... ?

My wife and I were on our home purchase stay and our realtor was able to get us tickets for the show. FOURTH ROW!!!! Can you believe it? We were thrilled. We have several pictures once I figure out how to get them downloaded from our camera. (had to buy a new one since we lost the one we started out wth somewhere between Roanoke and Orlando)

Wow, Way back when I was a toddler (?) I skipped school two days in a row to see Herman's Hermits at the Ohio State Fair. All the entertainment was free so we got the best seats we could for the first show and then RAN to grab front row seats for the second which was about 6 hours later. We heard were he was suppose to be staying so we tried to get into the hotel. That turned out not to be so good !!! That was back in 1966.
I can't believe after all these years he tried to find me HA! HA! I hope he doesn't wait another 44 years !!!!!
It would be fun to see his show. I didn't know he did anything except sing Henry VIII . I'm sure I can still jump up and down and squeal !!!!!

:BigApplause:We are not in TV yet, but we have seen him many times in NJ and in Ct mostly. We never get tired of seeing him and go whenever he is around. He is such a great performer and also very funny. Gets the crowd going and very personable. I had a picture with him after one of his shows. Love love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the '80's I worked at Heathrow airport. I met Peter Noone a couple of times, what a lovely man!
