I used nobody. Why paint a perfectly good concrete driveway and create a maintenance issue? I know some will disagree. But, when I want to look at a painted driveway, I go outside and look at my neighbor's driveway.

Check to see if you have any pipes under your drive first. If you have a problem with pipes under your drive in the future and it has to be tore up to replaced, it only gets placed back at the original concrete.
This changed my mind from doing something with my driveway as I do have pipes under my drive.

Custom Ram Design by Carlos Ramirez. He has his own studio in Ocala and hand drew our eagle before painting it. Stunning work; not cheap; but well worth it. You can go online to see examples of his work.

I am a big fan of Amy Newsom. Our driveway coating is now ten years old and it still looks new. We love it. When it’s dirty I just power wash it off and Amy reseals it every three years. She also did our walkways, lanai and under our birdcage.

Carlos Ramirez - Custom Ram Designs, 427-0833. He is an artist in concrete. Hand-drew the bird on my driveway based on one of my statues. I had my driveway and walk done in 2014 and it has not needed to be re-sealed yet (Carlos inspected it last year and said it didn't need it yet, will be back next year.) Several houses on my street had Carlos do their drives and I can always pick out his work when I go to other neighborhoods. With so many of the same model homes here the custom work on the driveway and walks gives the house some individuality. Not cheap but you will not regret it.

Whoever you use a word of warning. My neighbor had his done but when his motorcycle leaked gas and he wiped it the paint came off and smeared. He was told oil will do the same just not as fast. Why paint a driveway with paint that will not tolerate gas or oil. Sooner or later someone will park in your driveway with a car that will leak. Beware and ask questions about product being used.

Carlos, with Custom Ram. It is not a painted driveway but colored concrete design put over your existing driveway. Carlos will custom design what you want. If you keep it treated with a clear seal coat every couple of years it will last a long , long time. Yes, do the sidewalk and porch. Is ties it all together and looks great.

We used Florida Deck. It's not paint though, but some sort of epoxy, and it is not slippery when wet. They did an awesome job and we love it!! You can see their work on their website.

Take a look at older painted driveways in the "older" villages. We have found that they look terrible after about 5 years and no retouching. If you feel you really need to resurface your driveway, pavers are the way to go. We don't have anything on ours...it's a driveway!

Well DUH, that's kind of a no brainer - gas will take off pretty much ANY paint. The same is probably true from battery acid from your golf cart but you have to pay more attention to what you are doing so that doesn't happen.

it appears most of the concrete 'painters use colored/tintedSherwin Williams' (H & C acrylic sealer) not paint... our n-bor just had his done in 'a random pa.flagstone pattern. where most decorative concrete artisans would have taken 2d ( 2 artisans) this outfit was done in 1 day. the 'flagstone' looks like many adjacent geometric patterns, not ' pa flagstone ' if i were still in the trade,i'd be embarrased of the work!
however evidently the customer was happy its still there after a month. which prompts me to think customer eitherdoesn' know good work OR bought cheap..............1 block from this abortion is an excellent example ofthat artisan's tuscan' finish which has depth & character
but, in the end all' painters must be competitive in pricet hankfully that customer recignized quality work... ps the coating is 10 yrs old. w/ no resealing

We used Delcrete Coating 352-551-1515. Very happy with results. Also used Judy Burtoft of Murals and Decorative Artwork 352-750-1065 for the design in center of driveway which she did to match the pattern in our glass on front door. Beautiful work.

I could be wrong but I don't think epoxy stands up to uv rays. At least the epoxy on my garage floor by the door doesn't, I leave the door open a lot. Also if finished with a clear coat the sun will turn it yellow.

How much do I budget to have her do the driveway and how much is the reseal job every 3 years? Sooooo many variables. It ain't cheap (of course "cheap" is relative). We had double driverway, front walkway, patio & lanai done and she told us (3 years ago) reseal would be "around $300. The original job IIRC was around $1.6K. Again that was 3 years ago. Even back then she was about 5 months lead time. There was geometric pattern on the driveway and 2color borders around everything.

typical epoxy is not uv resistant there are some but add 25% to buy,,, epoxy clear coats are usually uv resistant urethanes.

Make sure that you get ARC approval before proceeding to make a beautiful driveway.... Also make sure it doesn't get slippery when wet, so that you don't fall and break something!

sher-wms has product ' shark's grip as a traction/additive,,, h/d sells ground garnet for same,,, sand is.t as permanent whoever enhanced our own garage floor missed either as vinyl chips don't make a floor less slippery when wet - :-(

We chose to have ours done by Driveways by Jay specifically because it won't need the ongoing maintenance of resealing. We are also very happy with his work and would highly recommend them.
