You have helped me before and I can't find anything concrete (pardon the pun) in the Contractor Forum. I'm planning on extending the patio and need a good concrete company to pour the slab. Small job, 12' x 11'.

Stephen, first you will need ARC approval, do not skip on this. Then Florida regulations do not allow LIVE water lines under concrete slabs, so you will probably need to have irrigation lines moved (been there done that). We had Joseph Sweeting LLC 352-209-7676 do the pad for our birdcage as well as the birdcage, very pleased. There will also be at lease one permit required and your contractor will get this.

Robert Robey Concrete. 352-753-2462. They advertise in "The Daily Sun." 12 years ago they did an 8 x 10 slab for us. It's the only piece of concrete around here that hasn't cracked yet.

Mar Concrete is another one that's been around a long time and is recommended.

Mary and I used T&D 14yrs ago. The sculptured slab is still perfect. The clean-up was fantastic & the price was fair. They got the ARC for us.
