I currently have Dish and am not very happy with their service. The recently lost the FX channel over a contract dispute with Fox. Also, you can't watch HD on a second TV from your primary DVR receiver.
DirecTV is advertising Whole Home HD. The claim that you get a primary DVR, then individual HD receivers for each TV. This allows you to watch HD live, and recorded programs from any TV. The further claim that if you get a second DVR you can record/watch any program from any TV. That would mean that with two DVR's you could record up to 4 shows at the same time, then watch them from any TV.
Does anybody have this, and can explain how the system is wired to be able to do this.
