My mom was a nurse in the 1940's and 50's at the Mass general hospital in Boston and met one of those great medical heroes and that's how her doctor supervisor introduced him.. . .

the hard part for all of us today is to imagine how hard life was prior to the 1940's when all the current day standard life saving discoveries started being researched and used . . our survival owes alot to those who want to make every day a safe and healthier day.
